Candle Care Tips
Designed to burn clean, slow, and intentional — giving you the longest, safest, and most consistent burn experience possible.
Burn Time Control
Keep each burn under 4 hours at a time. Longer burns create excess heat and put unnecessary stress on the vessel.
Trim the Wick
Trim your wick to ¼" before every burn. This prevents soot, reduces mushrooming, and keeps the flame steady and clean.
Let Wax Reach the Edges
Allow the candle to form a full melt pool during the first few burns. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even, long-lasting burn.
Never Leave Unattended
Always keep candles within sight while they burn. Avoid flammable materials, unstable surfaces, pets, and active airflow.
Use a Heat-Safe Surface
Set your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Avoid direct airflow which causes flickering and uneven burning.
Jar Becomes Hot
Candle vessels heat up during burning. Let the candle cool completely before touching or moving it.
Stop at ½" of Wax
When only ½" of wax remains, discontinue use. This prevents overheating the vessel base and protects your surfaces.
Maintain a Steady Flame
Avoid vents or drafts. A stable flame ensures even melting, cleaner burning, and maximum longevity.
Estimated Burn Time
8oz Candle — 50+ hours. Burn times vary depending on room airflow, wick trimming habits, and session length.
Repurpose the Vessel
Once the final ½" of wax remains, let the candle cool. Add hot water and dish soap to lift out the remaining wax. Clean the jar and repurpose it for storage, tools, plants, incense, or décor.
